Delete Your Account

Applies to the Ruunly account you use on ruunly.com and in the Ruunly mobile app (com.ruunly.app), published by Ruunly LLC.

How to delete your account

There are two ways. Both delete the same things.

In the mobile app

  1. Open the Ruunly app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your personal data is removed straight away and you are signed out. On the rare occasion the final step does not complete, your login may briefly still work — deleting again finishes the job.

By email — no app required

If you no longer have the app installed, or cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject “Account deletion request”. We verify that you control the address before deleting anything, and complete verified requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your Ruunly login

The account itself — email, password credential, and any magic-link or session state. You will no longer be able to sign in on the web or in the mobile app.

  • Your membership in every business

You are removed from every Ruunly workspace you belong to, as an owner, admin, or crew member.

  • Your mobile push tokens

The per-device identifiers used to send you job notifications. No further notifications can reach your devices.

What is retained, and for how long

Ruunly is used by service businesses to run their operations. Some records belong to the business rather than to your personal login, and deleting your login does not remove them.

  • Business records created in a workspace

Jobs, customers, estimates, invoices, and payments belong to the business you worked for, not to your personal account. Deleting your login does not delete the business or its records — the business owner controls those.

Retention: Controlled by the business; see the retention table in our Privacy Policy

  • Invoice, payment, refund, dispute, and tax records

Financial records are retained to meet tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. This applies to records of a business, not to your personal login.

Retention: Generally up to 7 years, or longer where law requires

  • Security and audit logs

Records of security-relevant events, kept for fraud prevention and investigation.

Retention: As long as needed for security, compliance, and investigation

Full detail is in the retention table of our Privacy Policy.

If you are the only owner of a business

Deletion is blocked until someone else can run the business.

If you are the sole administrator of a Ruunly workspace, deleting your account would leave that business with no one able to access it — including its billing and its customers’ records. The app will tell you which businesses are blocking, and deletes nothing.

Invite another administrator and wait for them to accept, then delete your account. If the business is finished with Ruunly entirely, request full workspace deletion below instead — cancelling the subscription on its own does not unblock this, because the check is about who can administer the business, not what it pays.

Deleting an entire business, not just your login

To delete a whole Ruunly workspace and the records inside it, email [email protected] from the owner’s address. We will confirm ownership, then delete the workspace apart from records we are legally required to keep — principally invoice, payment, and tax records, as described above.
