Common questions

When do I get paid?
Commissions are held for 60 days from the charge date to cover potential refunds and chargebacks. After the hold period, cleared commissions are batched and paid on the first business day of the following month via PayPal or Wise. Your first payout is subject to a 120-day hold while your account is being established.
What happens if my referral cancels or gets a refund?
If a referred customer cancels within 90 days, the commission is reversed (clawback). If a customer charges back a payment, the corresponding commission is frozen pending resolution. If a customer cancels before their next renewal, the renewal-month commission is not earned — you only earn on billing cycles that complete successfully.
Do I need to disclose that I am an affiliate?
Yes — FTC guidelines require clear and conspicuous disclosure of your material connection to Ruunly on every post, video, or page that promotes Ruunly or includes your affiliate code. Acceptable disclosures: "#ad", "[Ad]", "I earn a commission if you sign up via my link." Disclosures must be visible at the same time as the endorsement — not buried in a bio link or video description footer.
Can I use my own affiliate code to sign up?
No. Self-referral is fraud and is detected automatically. If self-referral is detected, your account will be terminated and any pending commissions will be voided. Do not attempt to earn commissions by signing up under your own code or by signing up using a second account.
How do I withdraw my earnings?
You can withdraw via PayPal or Wise. A minimum balance of $50 is required to initiate a payout. Add your payout method inside your affiliate dashboard. All US payees who earn more than $600 in a calendar year will receive a 1099-NEC. Non-US payees must complete a W-8BEN form.
